Terms of use for the FieldNav - Military GPS app.
1. Acceptance
By using the FieldNav - Military GPS app you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. License and use
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use of the app. You may not reverse-engineer the source code or use the app unlawfully.
3. Payments and subscriptions
The app currently does not charge fees beyond any in-store purchases (if applicable).
4. User content
The user creates waypoints, routes, and tracks. These belong to the user, are stored locally on the device, and can be exported (GPX/KML/CSV). The app developer has no access to them.
5. Disclaimers
- FieldNav is a supplementary navigation tool and does not replace official maps, official navigation sources, or dedicated GPS equipment.
- Do not rely solely on the app in life- or health-threatening situations.
- Position accuracy depends on the device's GPS receiver, terrain conditions, and signal quality.
- Coordinate conversions, MGRS grid, and magnetic declination (WMM2025) are for informational purposes only — critical data should be verified independently.
- The user is responsible for using the app in accordance with applicable laws and regulations regarding maps and navigation.
6. Limitation of liability
The app is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the app.
7. Additional provisions
Online maps are provided by third parties (OpenStreetMap, Esri) and are subject to their licenses and terms of use.
Changes and contact
